為2018年仰望上帝

用一篇我很喜愛的新年禱文祝福好朋友，並以此期許自己並仰望上帝所賞賜的2018年。

「感謝主賜給我們前面嶄新的一年，
幫助我們在每一個新的日子中，活出應當的樣式。

賜給我們柔和的智慧，為朋友提供援助，
並給我們力量與勇氣，挺起肩膀成為他們的支持。

未來的一年仍空白，幫助我們以美事填滿，
每天充滿喜樂，幸福源源不斷。

請賜給世界的領袖源自和平的勇氣，
溫和地領導我們，讓戰爭止息。

請賜給世上所有人民一顆滿懷愛的心，
與祢從天上賜下的恩典一同經歷平和歡欣。」

Thank you Lord for giving me
The brand new year ahead
Help me live the way I should
As each new day I tread.

Give me gentle wisdom
That I might help a friend
Give me strength and courage
So a shoulder I might lend.

The year ahead is empty
Help me fill it with good things
Each new day filled with joy
And the happiness brings.

Please give the leader of our world
A courage born of peace
That they might lead us gently
And all the fighting cease.

Please give to all upon this earth
A heart that’s filled with love
A gentle happy way to live
With Your blessings from above…
